Why should I use LeaderTask?
1. All tasks and plans are always at hand. 2. You never forget to do something, LT will remind.
Convenient and friendly interface, portable. Assignment control, control of the results, saving of the results and opportunity of making reports. Really helps in life: work, home, rest - tasks planning, meetings planning, reminder of the important events.
When the number of tasks for today (including assigned ones) overcomes 10-15 - you can't do futher without LeaderTask or a program like this.
You can have a perfect visualization of the business process. I've got rid of the paper organizers and use LT to increase the effectiveness of my planning.
For those who work the whole day at the PC and do great number of tasks, work with a lot of different information just need programs like this one. And LT is perfect here to my opinion.
What would you advice at the beginning of using LeaderTask?
I'd wish patience - the program is very powerfull - I wish patience to learn all its possibilities and to decide to buy it :-)
I use LeadeTask in the "Todo list" mode (analogues of a task list on a paper scrap). You can move tasks easily for another days. It won't let you give up on a half-way.
I would advice to put all tasks in LeaderTask and to start use it, after that you'll have to use it anyway - all tasks are there. Step by step you'll learn your own scheme of working with the program and it will become very convenient. LeaderTask mail client also helped me - I've just put all mail in it. There isn't a long way from a mail to a task in this program.
First of all you have to choose your TM methodology. I recommend to read Vasily Kisly :)
Some users' advices from the Data Base of Useful Advices
If you work in the Internet - push the F11 button - get rid of everything that can disturb you visually.
When you don't know what to begin with - begin with the imagination of the result, thoughts what to do will appear themselves.
Hang a table on the wall. Write there habits you'd like to make a part of your life. Mark every day when you've managed to do it. But the most important thing is to see the habits and to try to repeat them. After a month or two delete the habits you've got accustomed to and whose you couldn't make a part of you life. Add new ones. From 7 to 15. For example, to get up at 7 a.m. To do morning exercises. To read books and so on.
Try to meet people that organizer their work well, that can teach you. Learn or just talk with them, follow their examples.
Before execute a long chain of actions - write it down and delete every executed step, one by one.
Every third personal appeal of your colleagues should be rejected. Say you're busy with work. Try to get rid of distraction at the working process.
